In Tamil Nadu, the deep depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal moved Southwestward and crossed North Srilanka coast and weakened into a depression and lay centred over Southeast of Pamban. Its likely to move in a Westerly direction and emerge into Gulf of Mannar and cross South Tamilnadu coast between Kanyakumari and Pamban on Tuesday.<br/><br/>The Rameswaram Express has been stopped at Ramanathapuram Railway Station as the train could not proceed further because of the turbulent sea.
