In Tamil Nadu, the deep depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal moved Southwestward and crossed North Srilanka coast and weakened into a depression and lay centred over Southeast of Pamban. Its likely to move in a Westerly direction and emerge into Gulf of Mannar and cross South Tamilnadu coast between Kanyakumari and Pamban on Tuesday.<br/><br/>The Rameswaram Express has been stopped at Ramanathapuram Railway Station as the train could not proceed further because of the turbulent sea. Nagapattinam Thanjavur and Cuddalore district administrations have declared holiday for educational institutions.<br/><br/>Local cautionary signal number III is kept hoisted at Cuddalore, Nagapattinam and Puducherry ports and distant cautionary signal number I is kept hoisted at Chennai and Ennore ports.<br/>
