Union Power, Coal and New Energy Minister Piyush Goyal launched Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana in Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh yesterday. New projects worth 48 crore rupees under the Gram Jyoti Yojana will be implemented in different parts of the district. On this occasion, Mr. Goyal hoped that the scheme will bring fundamental changes in lives of rural people. He said this scheme will also lead to strengthen the network of distribution of electricity in rural areas.<br/><br/><br/>
