The CBI has booked the officials of Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India under Prevention of Corruption Act for allegedly allowing supply of sub-standard ballast causing the "loss of crores of rupees" to the Government.<br/>'<br/>According to an FIR filed by CBI in New Delhi yesterday, Project Manager Shiv Karan, Deputy Project Manager V K Mittal of DFCCI, Sikar and other accused have been booked for criminal conspiracy, cheating, and under the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act.<br/>'<br/>DFCCI is a special purpose vehicle set up under the Ministry of Railway to undertake planning and development, construction, maintenance and operation of dedicated freight corridors.
