Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry has asked LPG dealers to consider the applications for two separate connections from the same household address if they are genuine. However, the applicant will have to make a declaration in this regard, Petroleum Minister told this to the Lok Sabha today.He said one crore LPG connections are issued every year in the country, and efforts are on to cover more rural and remote areas. Mr Moily said as of now 60 per cent households in the country are having LPG connections.
