<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister Piyush Goyal has said that the decision to suspend the 19 opposition members from the Rajya Sabha for this week has been taken with a heavy heart. <br />''<br />''Talking to media outside Parliament, Mr Goyal said these MPs were suspended for ignoring the Chair's appeal and repeatedly disrupting the proceedings of the House. He asserted that the government is ready for a debate on the issue of price rise once Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman recovers from  Covid-19  and returns to Parliament. Mr Goyal once again appealed to the Opposition to allow the House to function.</span><br />
