BJP President Amit Shah on Wednesday said, the government's decision to reduce excise duty on petrol and diesel by two rupees shows its priority to giving relief to the common man and farmers. In a tweet, Mr. Shah welcomed the decision and lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On Tuesday, the government had cut excise duty on petrol and diesel to moderate the rise in fuel prices.
