Minister for Food processing Industries Harsimrat Kaur Badal has said that Government's decision to allow 100 per cent Foreign Direct Investment in food processing sector was one the path-breaking decision of her Ministry. <br/><br/>In an exclusive interview to AIR, Ms Badal said, the decision will generate a lots of jobs, give good remuneration to farmers and reduce wastage of food and perishable items. <br/><br/>She said, during the last two years, her Ministry has sanctioned 30 new cold chains and 78 has been operationalized. She said, job creation for youth and skill development is also major focus of her Ministry.
