Karnataka Governor H.R. Bhardwaj has said that the decision on whether to sanction the prosecution of Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa will be taken in a couple of days. A Forum of Lawyers had submitted a petition seeking permission to sue the Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on land scam charges. Talking to newsmen on the sidelines of a book release in Bangalore, the Governor said that he was yet to get all the relevant documents sought from the government relating to allegations on land scam involving the Chief Minister. Referring to the information given by Law Minister Suresh Kumar that the Governor had during a meeting with the Chief Minister indicated that the sanction to prosecute will be given on January 26, H R Bharadwaj said that such a thing was never conveyed to anyone.
