Decision imposing fresh curbs on old note deposits exceeding Rs 5000 anti-people: CPI(M)

CPI(M) has termed the decision imposing fresh curbs on deposit of amounts above five thousand in old notes as anti-people. <br/><br/>In a statement, party polit Bureau said this decision has been taken as almost all the notes taken out of circulation have come back into the banking system exposing the claims that black money will be eliminated. <br/><br/>The party has demanded the immediate retraction of these directives. It alleged that the Central government has made life of common man miserable by the latest restrictions and is not taking effective steps to ease the hardships. <br/><br/>The CPI(M) also said the government which had advised the people not to rush to deposit old notes as there was enough time earlier, now wants to grill the people fornot depositing earlier.<br/>
