A top official of the African Union said, the unilateral decision by France to drop weapons to Libyan rebels, is dangerous and puts the whole region's security at risk. France confirmed earlier, it had dropped weapons to the Libyan rebels fighting Col. Gaddafi's forces in the mountains south west of the capital. The Head of African Union said, the roadmap set by the AU in March, was still valid and it was the only document worth considering. This roadmap calls for a ceasefire that would lead towards a transitional authority.
