Death toll rises to 288 and over 1000 injured in Odisha train accident

He said ten lakh rupees will be given to the next of kin of each killed, two lakh rupees each to grievously injured and 50 thousand rupees each for minor injuries.<br />''<br />''Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin has announced an ex-gratia of five lakh rupees each to the families of the deceased and 50 thousand rupees each to the injured.<br />''<br />''Condolence messages pouring in from across the country and abroad. Condolence messages have been pouring in from across the country on the lives lost in the train accident in Balasore, Odissa. Chief Ministers of various states, leaders of political parties and several organisation have expressed their grief on the tragedy.<br />''Leaders of parties including the AIADMK, Congress, PMK, AMMK, TMC, BJP and others have conveyed their condolences to the families of the deceased and injured.  Several Chief Ministers including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Chattisgarh and Haryana are among others who have condoled the incident.<br />''Condolences are also pouring in from world leaders on train crash.
