<span style="color: #222222;">In Gujarat, Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghavi is chairing a high-level meeting in Gandhinagar to review the situation in Botad spurious liquor case.<br />''<br />''Addressing a Press conference, Gujarat Director General of Police Ashish Bhatia said, the death toll due to the consumption of spurious liquor has gone up to 28. Police have filed three FIRs against more than 14 people in this connection and most of the accused have been arrested so far.<br />''<br />''Mr Bhatia said, Police have also seized 460 litres of chemical which is found as Methyl Alcohol in a forensic report. He said, out of the total 28 deaths, 22 are from Botad district while six are from Ahmedabad rural region. He said, the chemical was mixed in plain water and was sold to people.<br />''<br />''AIR correspondent reports that around 35 people are undergoing treatment in various hospitals in Botad, Bhavnagar and Dhandhuka. Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition Sukhram Rathava and Congress State President Jagdish Thakor are expected to visit Botad this afternoon.</span><br />
