In Iran, the death toll in twin blast in south-eastern Iranian city of Zahedan in Sistan-Baluchestan Province last night reached to 27 while over 200 people have been reported injured.According to Iran’s official news agency IRNA, local officials say both the explosions were suicide attacks aimed to divide Shiites and Sunnis in south-eastern Sistan-Balouchestan Province. The first explosion occurred in front of the gate of city's Grand Mosque followed by a second blast within minutes when people gathered to help the victims of first blast.A police official Jalal Sayyah said that an investigation into the incident is underway. According to Fars news agency, Iran’s Deputy Interior Minister Ali Abdollahi described the incident as a terrorist act.Meanwhile Al-Arabiya television station has reported that it has received an e-mail from Jundullah, saying the group had carried out the attacks in response to the execution of its former leader Rigi who was hanged in Iran recently.US secretary of State Hillary Clinton has condemned the attack. In a statement, she call for the perpetrators of this horrific attack to be held accountable for their actions.
