Death toll rise to 25 in Iraq explosions

The death toll from the three explosions in Iraq's southern holy city of Najaf yesterday has risen to 25. 72 people were wounded in the explosions. The serial explosions occurred yesterday afternoon in the old town of the Shiite holy city, some 180 kilometres south of Iraqi capital Baghdad. Some shops and buildings were also damaged. One was a car bomb near a mosque and the other two were roadside bombs near a popular market.<br/>
