In Bihar, the death toll of Kanwariyas following electrocution has gone up to 13 in Rohtash district. Thirty kanwariyas sustained injuries in this incident. AIR Patna correspondent reports that these Kanwarias were burned to death when an overhead high tension wire fell on the bus in which they were travelling to Deoghar. The state government has ordered an inquiry into the incident. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced an ex gratia of rupees one lakh fifty thousand to next of the kin of the victims.
