The death toll of Children in the BC Roy Memorial Child Hospital in Kolkata has gone up to 21 with nine more child deaths reported in the last 48 hours. Six babies had lost their lives on Thursday. Hospital authorities said, the children were brought to the hospital in a critical condition. They have been suffering from Septicaemia and low weight complaints. The relatives of the dead children have blamed the hospital authorities for negligence. AIR Kolkatta correspondent reports, the State Government had yesterday appointed an enquiry committee and asked it to submit its report within 24 hrs to Chief Minister, Ms. Mamata Banerjee.
