The death toll has risen to 69 in the landslides in Bangladesh's southeastern hilly districts triggered by incessant rains. <br/><br/>The highest casualties are in Rangamati with 35 dead, followed by 27 in Chittagong and 7 in Bandarban. <br/><br/>Four army personnel including two officers are also among the dead. They were working on rescue operations trying to unblock the Chittagong-Rangamati highway when they got buried under a fresh landslide. <br/><br/>Army officials have confirmed that one more personnel is missing while ten have suffered injuries.<br/><br/>Authorities say the death toll is likely to further rise as scores are missing and some of the hospitalised remain critical.<br/><br/>Meanwhile rains continue to lash the area and Chittagong remains cut off from affected areas slowing the pace of rescue operations. <br/><br/>
