Death toll in WB train accident reaches to 66

In West Bengal, death toll in yesterday's train accident at Santhia in Birbhum district has gone upto 66. Thirty-two dead bodies have so far been identified. Out of these, 28 bodies have been handed over to their relatives. Sixty-seven injured passengers are still admitted to Suri and Burdwan Medical College Hospitals while 11 have been shifted to Kolkata in critical condition. Our Correspondent Arijit Chakraborty reports from Santhia that large number of anxious people are standing in front of the Suri Hospital to find out their relatives or friends. A Control Room has been set up at the Hospital. Pictures of dead and injured passengers have been kept there. A Blood donation camp has been organised at Suri Hospital premises by different organisations to meet the demand of blood for the injured.
