Death toll in two J&K road accidents rises to 12

In Jammu and Kashmir, the death toll in two road accidents has risen to twelve with four more persons succumbing to their injuries. In first accident eleven persons were killed when a tempo traveler skidded off the road about 20 kms from Mahore (Reasi District) of Jammu Division and fell into a deep nallah. While eight persons had died on the spot, three others later succumbed to their injuries. The temp traveler was carrying 15 persons and was on its way from Shahdra Sharief to Gool Ramban. Four seriously injured persons have been shifted to Government Medical College, Jammu for specialized treatment. In another accident, one person was killed on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway near Ramban when his car in which he was travelling had a head on collision with a truck coming from opposite direction.
