In Rajasthan, the death toll in bus accident increased to 33. The accident occurred due to falling down of a mini bus in Banas River today morning, 20 km from Sawai Madhopur district headquarter. <br/><br/>Deceased include 22 male, 7 female and 4 children. Seven injured persons are being treated in the hospitals of Sawai Madhopur. State Government announced 2 lakh rupees financial assistance each to families of deceased persons and 50 thousand rupees each to injured. <br/><br/>Among deceased, 9 persons are from Uttar Paradesh, 4 from Madhya Pradesh and 3 are from Bihar, they were came to visit Ram Dev temple near Malarna Chaur situated on Kota-Lalsot mega highway. 17 persons from Rajasthan also died in accident. <br/><br/>Most of these are from Sawai Madhopur District. District Collector of Sawai Madhopur told AIR that a case has been registered and police is investigating reasons of the accident. <br/><br/>Principal Medical Officer of district hospital Sawai Madhopur Dr. Umesh Sharma told that most people have died due to water drowning. This is the biggest accident of the year, which took place few days before the year ends resulting in gloom to several families.
