Death toll in Peshawar suicide blast touches three

In Pakistan, the death toll of the suicide bomb attack in Peshawar rises to three. The dead included Frontier Constabulary Commandant Sifwat Ghayur, his driver and a guard. Dramatic footage aired on a TV news channel showed the bomber coolly walking up to Ghayur's car, which had stopped at a traffic light, and detonating his explosives near the headquarters of the organisation. Police said at least three other cars were destroyed by the blast which shattered the window panes of the nearby buildings.Ghayur was killed on the spot. The blast, for which Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility, also sparked a fire at a nearby petrol pump.
