In Pakistan, the death toll from various incidents of target killings in Karachi has now risen to 21 within last 36 hours with one more persons killed late last night. Local media reports said tension and fear has gripped Karachiites following eruption of riots in Malir Wednesday evening. Five persons have been so far shot dead since then. The latest targeted killing incident took place in Sarjani locality where a dead body of a 36-year-old man, reportedly an activist of a political party had been recovered, taking the tally to 21 in three days.
