Death toll in Mumbai building collapse rises to nine

<span style="color: #222222;">In Maharashtra, the death toll in the 'Bhanushali' building collapse in Mumbai has gone up to nine after a 17-year boy succumbed to his injuries at J J Hospital. As the search and rescue operations continued today, a 35-year old male and a 23-year old female were declared brought dead at the state-run hospital this afternoon. Two other persons who were injured in the collapse are undergoing treatment.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Following heavy rains in the city since last week, a corner portion of the six-storey 'Bhanushali' building, had caved in around 4.45 p.m. yesterday. The ill-fated building had been partly vacated for repairs by Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority. However, work was stopped post the Corona virus outbreak and families who had vacated the building returned to stay there.</span><br />''
