In Kerala the death toll in LPG tanker explosion near Chala in Kannur district has risen to nine. Ten people are in a critical condition. They are being treated in various hospitals . The accident took place on Tuesday last causing injuries to about 40 people. Fifeteen houses and about thirty five shops in the area were destroyed in the fire. A number of vehicles also were gutted in the accident.
