In Kerala, the death toll in the illicit liquor tragedy in Malapuram district has risen to nine. seven patients died in Kuttippuram and two in Vantoor. It includes one husband and wife in Vantoor. Out of the seven dead, four patients are from Tamil Nadu and three from Kerala. Meanwhile, high level inquiry headed by Tirur, Deputy Superintendent of Police, N.P.Mohanchandra has started. This is as per the directions given by Kerala Home Minister Mr. Kudiyeri Balakrishnan.
