In Uttar Pradesh, the death toll in hooch tragedy in Mau -Aima township in Allahabad has gone up to seven. AIR correspondent reports, the toll may rise because the condition of some people who consumed spurious liquor is reported to be critical. District magistrate Sanjay Prasad told AIR that seven police and excise officials have already been suspended and Magisterial inquiry has also been ordered into the case. FIR has been lodged against four persons.
