One more body was pulled out Thursday morning, from the debris of the collapsed building in East Delhi taking the death toll in the incident to 70. The dead includes 29 women and 17 children. Efforts to remove the rubble is still continuing.A Fire Brigade official said the body of a 25-year-old man was recovered from the mound of rubbles at Lalita Park area of Laxmi Nagar at around 7.30 AM. The building was inhabited by labourers from Bihar and West Bengal. The residents staying in three nearby buildings have been shifted in the make shift camps. The debris is expected to be cleared by Thursday.Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee last night visited the site of the building collapse in East Delhi offered support form her Ministry in transporting the bodies to native places of the victims. Delhi government appointed a one-member judicial commission to probe the incident. The owner of the unauthorised five storey building Amrit Singh who was arrested on Tuesday has been remanded to two days judicial custody.The MCD has, meanwhile, asked the occupants of as many as 38 dangerous buildings in the East Delhi area to evacuate immediately after a survey it conducted in the area following directions from Delhi Government.
