Death toll from series of explosions rises to three in China

In China, the death toll from a series of explosions at government buildings in the eastern province of Jiangxi has risen to three. One of the 10 people injured in the three blasts in Fuzhou city on Thursday later died in hospital. Reports say, the blasts were allegedly carried out by a jobless man. Official news agency today reported that a 52-year-old man identified as Qian Mingqi allegedly triggered explosions at the parking garage of the city prosecutor's office and other government buildings. The blasts shattered windows in the buildings and destroyed at least 10 cars.
