In Nepal, death toll from floods and landslides caused by heavy rainfall has reached 90. Twenty-nine persons are still missing and forty-one have been injured. Heavy rainfall created havoc in the Himalayan nation last week affecting normal life in 34 districts. <br />'' <br />'' According to Ministry of Home Affairs, ten people lost their lives in Rautahat district, six each in Lalitpur and Siraha and five each in Morang, Bhojpur, Dhanusha, Makawanpur and Sindhuli districts. Four persons each died in Okhaldhunga, Mahottari and Dolpa districts, while three each were killed in Jhapa, Khoang, Parsa, Kavre and Kathmandu districts. <br />'' <br />'' More than 13,000 households were displaced by floods and landslides. Over 3000 people have been safely rescued by the security personnel. Relief material is being distributed in the affected areas and medical teams have been sent to prevent waterborne diseases. <br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, situation in the affected areas is slowly improving. According to Meteorological Forecast Division of Nepal rain is likely to occur at some places in the country and there are also chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places in the eastern and central regions. <br />
