In Philippines, the death toll due to the typhoon Megi has risen to eleven as the power full storm moved away from the country. The typhoon was the strongest to hit the Philippines for serveral years. Significant damage, tearing the roof off houses and cutting powers were reported from various areas. It has now passed over the main island, Luzon and heading towards the southern coast of China.
