Death toll due to COVID-19 reaches 80 in Manipur

<span style="color: #222222;">In Manipur, two persons expired  due to COVID-19  in the past 24 hours thus increasing the total fatality due to the pandemic in the State to 80.<br />'' <br />'' On the other hand, 249 people including 6 personnel of the Central Armed Police Force  were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases in the past twenty four hours in the State thus making the total count of positive cases to 12489.<br />'' <br />'' 122 persons were discharged in the past 24 hours in the State and the recovery rate is 76.89 percent.<br />'' <br />'' So far 9604 persons have recovered and the number of active cases stands at 2805.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, 40,000 Rapid Antigen Test kits arrived in Imphal today. The State government procured the kits to enhance the COVID-19 testing capacity in the State.<br />''<br />''So far, the State Health Directorate has procured 1,75,000 rapid antigen kits.</span>
