<span style="color: #222222;">The government has extended the last date to link Permanent Account Number (PAN) with Aadhaar number by six month till 30th of September.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Earlier, March 31st was the last date. In a statement, Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) said, the decision to extend the deadline was taken in view of the media reports that those PANs which are not linked with Aadhaar number by yesterday may be invalidated.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The CBDT has also made it clear that it is mandatory to quote and link Aadhaar number from today in filing the Income Tax Return. </span><br />''  <br />
