Delhi and District Cricket Associaiton (DDCA) moved Delhi High Court yesterday with a plea seeking direction to South Delhi Municipal Corporation over issuing a provisional occupancy certificate (POC) to hold international match between India and South Africa at Ferozshah Kotla stadium. While the match is scheduled to be held from 3rd to 7th of December, DDCA has sought POC from 1st to 10th of December. The matter though will be up for hearing again today after the court adjourned yesterday.Hence, DDCA has failed to meet the 17th November deadline set by BCCI for obtaining all clearances by state, but has sought a one-day extension. DDCA are supposed to pay entertainment tax in excess of 24 crore rupees in order to get clearance for organizing the match.
