DD Kisan Channel today completed its one year of operation. Speaking at a function organised to celebrate the 1st anniversary of the Channel in New Delhi, Prasar Bharti Chairman Dr. A Surya Prakash said, Narendra Modi led government has taken several steps for the welfare of the farmers during the last two years.<br/><br/>He said, DD Kishan has played a vital role in reaching the government schemes to farmers. On the occasion Dr Suryaprakash launched live streaming of the Channel and also gave away the DD Kisan award to India Meteorological Department and Indian Council of Agricultural Research.
