Lamba was injured when someone allegedly threw a stone at her during an anti-drug drive there. A video clip later showed her vandalising shops along with some of her supporters.

She had lodged a complaint on the same day with the DCW against Sharma alleging he used foul language against her and threatened her. DCW had, on Monday, issued fresh summons to SHO Kashmiri Gate Vijender Singh and DCP North Madhur Verma regarding the alleged attack on Lamba. While Verma did not come, the SHO was issued a fresh summon for tomorrow and was asked to come along with the CCTV footage and status report on action taken in the case.
