In Punjab, keeping in view the peaceful situation, the curfew in Ludhiana has been lifted today from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM . However, the night curfew from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM would continue. Police force from other states would stay for some time to maintain law and order.<br/> <br/>The Ludhiana administration has assured the industry and the migrant population that their interests will be taken care of to avoid any unruly incident in future.AIR correspondent Rajesh Bali reports from Jalandhar that the Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana, Mr. Vikas Garg has said that they are keeping a close watch on the whole situation, which is otherwise peaceful, and would decide accordingly wheather to permanently lift the morning curfew from tomorrow or not.<br/> <br/>Meanwhile, the concerned in-charge of the police chowki, who allegedly failed to register complaint of a migrant labour, has been transferred and an enquiry has been initiated against him. Police has registered cases against many persons responsible for violence in the city on December 3rd and 4th and have also arrested 42 persons. Senior police officers have assured to put such personnels on duty in migrant labour dominated areas who are sensitive to their problems.<br/> <br/>The two officials, Deputy Labour Commissioner and Joint Labour Commissioner sent by the Bihar Government, had a meeting with the Distt. Administration, yesterday and urged the officials to look into the problems of migrant labourers as many of them are feeling insecure.<br/>
