A day after Diwali festival, the skyline of the National Capital was enveloped under a sheath of smog–a mix of mist and smoke from the fire crackers burst overnight.According to the Met office, smog over the Delhi around the festival is a normal phenomenon. Sky will be clear by the afternoon and the day ahead will be warm and pleasant.The minimum temperature at 8:30 this morning was recorded at 16.7 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season.The maximum over the last 24 hours hovered around 31 degrees, a notch below normal.
