In Manipur, the 20-day Economic blockade of the National Highway 39 and 53 is continuing without any untoward incident. The blockade has been imposed by the United Naga Council, an apex body of Naga Tribes in Manipur.On the fourth day of the economic blockade, the Government has successfully managed to ply more than 350 loaded and the empty trucks along the two national highways.AIR Imphal correspondent quoting police sources reports that these vehicles were provided adequate security cover so that the drivers face no trouble on their way.
