In Madhya Pradesh, the Central Excise Department on Saturday auctioned a bungalow of underworld don and Dawood Ibrahim’s henchman Iqbaal Mirchi in Bhopal. The bungalow situated at the posh locality Shyamala hills was auctioned for seven crore fifty lakh rupees. The minimum auction price of the bungalow was ninety three lakh forty three thousand. Nine parties participated in the auction. The auction took place in the presence of officers of Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators Act (SAFEMA). This bungalow was confiscated under SAFEMA in 2001. The Central Excise Department had tried to auction this bungalow twice earlier.
