The underworld don Dawood Ibrahim is in Pakistan. Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said in the Lok Sabha today while responding to supplementaries during question hour. He informed members that India has requested Islamabad to hand over the don to New Delhi. Mr Shinde said, he had a talk with the Pakistani Interior Minister and raised the issue with Interpol in this regard. Earlier, replying to the main question, Minister of State, R P N Singh told members that the Centre has taken a number of steps to curb activities of Left Wing Extremism in different states. He said, the government has banned 36 organizations involved in terror activities.
