Senior assembly member Vasant Davkhare was unanimously re elected as Deputy Chairman of Maharashtra legislative council.<br/><br/>The voting was done in the second day of monsoon session of assembly. Kiran Pavaskar of Shiv Sena BJPalliance withdrew his candidature that opened the way for Davkhare, who is the member of Nationalist Congress Party.<br/>
