Davis Cup: India take 2-0 lead over Uzbekistan in Bengaluru<br/>

In Davis Cup Tennis, India has taken a 2-0 lead over Uzbekistan in the Asia-Oceania Zone Group-I tie played in Bengaluru. Ramkumar Ramanathan and debutant Prajnesh Gunneswaran won their Singles matches yesterday to give India a 2-0 lead. While Ramanathan defeated Temur Ismailov, 6-2, 5-7, 6-2, 7-5, Gunneswaran beat Sanjar Fayzieb, 7-5, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.Today, in the Doubles tie, the pair of Rohan Bopanna and Sriram Balaji will take on the duo of Farrukh Dustov and Sanjar Fayziev.The Reverse Singles matches will be played tomorrow.The winner of the tie will qualify for the World Group play-offs, to be played in September.All India Radio is broadcasting live commentary, alternately in Hindi and English, on the Davis Cup matches. Today, the commentary will be relayed from 5:55 PM till the end of the match, and tomorrow, from 2:55 PM till the end of the games. The commentary will be aired on National hook-up and Rajdhani Channels.
