Davis Cup: India stun Brazil with 3-2 win

India have entered the World Group stage in Davis Cup Tennis. On the third day of the World Group Play-off Tie in Chennai today, India won both the Reverse Singles to secure a 3-2 winning lead over Brazil. In the first match, Somdev Dev Varman emerged victorious when his opponent Thomas Belluci threw in the towel after losing the first set at 6-7 and trailing 0-4 in the second set, due to oppressive heat condition. In the Second Reverse Singles, Rohan Bopanna beat Ricardo Mellow in straight sets 6-3, 7-6, 6-3 to seal victory.
