Somdev Devvarman will take on Kel Nishikori while Rohan Bopanna clashes with Sugita. India had lost both its singles matches on the opening day of the tournament. Indian pair of Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna yesterday won their Men's doubles tie. They defeated Tatsuma Ito and Yuichi Sugita of Japan to keep India's hope alive. India are still trailing 1-2 and need to win both the reverse singles.
