David Ferrer to lock horns with Rafael Nadal for men's singles crown

Fourth seeded David Ferrer will lock horns with the seven-time champion Spaniard Rafael Nadal for the men's single title of the French Open tennis in Paris today. Ferrer reached the final beating Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-1, 7-6 6-2 while Rafael Nadal outclassed world number one Novak Djokovic 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 6-7, 9-7 in the semis.In the women's singles, Serena Williams defeated Maria Sharapova in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 yesterday to clinch the title. This is Serena's second French Open title and 16th grand slam.
