DAV College of Jalandhar , Punjab was today conferred the best Youth Parliament Competition Award at a function in New Delhi. Merit trophies were also awarded to Madurai Kamaraj University and Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu besides Jadavpur University of Kolkata and Govt. M.K.B. College, Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh. The 10th National Youth Parliament Competition was held in 22 institutions across the country. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Rajeev Shukla appreciated the role of youth in democracy and called for taking more steps to inculcate the values of Parliamentary democracy among them.
