The government has extended the last date for submission of Offline Applications under the Pre-Matric Scholarship scheme for minority students to 15th of October. The last date for submission of Applications under the scheme was 31st of this month. The decision to this effect was taken by Minority Affairs Minister Najma Heptulla after her Ministry received representations about difficulty being faced by the students in remote parts of the country in filling online applications. Minority Affairs Minister Najma Heptulla said the extension will be applicable to fresh applications and the benefit will be extended to all the States.
