West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhattacharjee has said that the Darjeeling crisis could be resolved only though elections of civic bodies in the hills. Addressing a public rally in Kolkata today Bhattacharjee said that his Government does not want to confer power to any political party in the hills without elections. The Chief Minister also ruled out the demands for separate Gorkhaland and setting up of a interim council in Darjeeling hills.
