In Rajasthan, CBI today arrested former Minister and BJP Whip, Rajendra Rathor in the Dara Singh fake encounter case. CBI spokesperson Dharini Mishra confirmed his arrest and said that Rathor will be produced in local CBI court of Jaipur. Dara Singh was killed in an encounter in 2006 and the Supreme Court handed over this case to CBI.
Meanwhile, the state BJP leaders in a meeting today, expressed their support for Rathor. The police made tight security at BJP office and CBI office. The CBI has arrested 12 out of 16 accused in the Dara Singh fake encounter case so far.
