Dantewada massacre issue rocks Parliament

Dantewada Massacre issue rocked both Houses of Parliament. <br/><br/>The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha had been adjourned till 2 pm. <br/><br/>The Lok Sabha took up the discussion on the issue after the first adjournment. Initiating the debate in the Lok Sabha, main opposition BJP charged the government that the ruling alliance is divided on dealing with Naxalism which causes a great threat to the internal security of the country. <br/><br/>BJP leader Mr Yashwant Sinha alleged while the need of the hour was unity of purpose, the ruling alliance is itself divided. <br/><br/>He said when the reports of the resignation of the Home Minister came, the BJP extended full support to the government in its fight against naxalism. <br/><br/>He also criticized the government for not making a suo moto statement on the issue. Heated exchanges between the treasury and opposition benches led to the adjournment of the House till 1 pm. <br/><br/>When the House met again the situation was no different and the Speaker Mrs Meira Kumar adjourned it till 2 pm. <br/><br/>The Home Minister will reply to the debate later in the day. <br/><br/>The Rajya Sabha was first adjourned till 12 and later till 2 P.M.even after Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mr Prithviraj Chavan assurance for a statement by the Home Minister on the issue. <br/><br/>The opposition however refused to relent. <br/>
